BAROQUE MEETS ELECTRONICA

ELECTRONIC ON A GROUND

LIVE CONCERT WITH THE SEBASTIAN GRUNEWALD ENSEMBLE

Have you ever imagined what it would sound like to bring together music from two very different centuries?

Listen to gentle, meditative sounds played live on baroque string instruments.
Enjoy room-filling clouds of sound from marimba and synthesizers and be carried away by driving rhythms on the electric violin.
Experience how two musical worlds connect and the familiar can be heard in a new way.

Electronic sounds meet baroque elegance

Sebastian Grunewald founded the ensemble to bring together baroque sound aesthetics, neoclassical music and electronic sounds in a new context. In his compositions, the depth and expressiveness of early music merge with the wide range of electronic and electroacoustic sounds, sometimes in contrast, sometimes interlocking, but always with a fresh, unconventional approach.

The ensemble wants to reach everyone who loves music and would like to go on a journey between tradition and experiment.
